HSM Driver Training | HGV | Minibus | Car & Trailer | Paramedic / Police Driving School

Our daughter had been driving for a year and just needed a few lessons to help get her ready for her driving test which had been booked for April. Roy was great he found out exactly what she wanted help with and gave her tips to help her perfect her manoeuvres. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons saying that Roy put her at ease & was very friendly & helpful. Her confidence boosted, on Roys' advice she got an earlier test date and passed 1st time with no faults at all! As a family we'd highly recommend Roy and the Harpenden School of Motoring.

I'd like to give a well-earned \shout out\ to Roy for how well he taught me how to drive. Roy has a very friendly, relaxed, no pressure approach and a great sense of humour. To me, his style is more like that of a mentor than a teacher in that he really dedicates himself to making sure you get all the knowledge and skills so you can pass the test. He's really good at explaining the \why\ behind what he wants to show you, so you can pick it up quicker and remember it longer. I can't say enough about how Roy made learning to drive be fun. Thanks Roy, I really appreciative of what you've done for me. Great job!! John Ford

I did my BE towing training and test with HSM and would highly recommend them. I really struggled to get to grips with the reverse manoeuvre. The instructors were so patient and came up with lots of ways to help me get my head round it. Thanks to their hard work I managed to pass my test first time. Thank you HSM!

I had failed a few tests before with different instructors so had completely given up hope of passing! Then I got Roy as an instructor and he was so patient and had a very relaxed approached to teaching. I was an extremely nervous driver but Roy’s calm teaching manner and sense of humour slowly helped build up my confidence to be a better driver so I was able to pass my test in the end! I would definitely recommend Roy as an instructor!
